Who is Chris Nason?
Hello and thanks for checking out my blog. Here you will find material, both audio and written, related to the topic of spiritual theology, spiritual formation, and historical Christian spirituality.
I have been an ordained Southern Baptist minister since 2002. I hold degrees from Colorado Christian University (B.S.) and Gateway Seminary of the Southern Baptist Convention (Master of Divinity/MDiv and Master of Theology/ThM). I have pastored a total of nineteen years, seventeen of them at Souls Church of Manitou Springs, CO, right at the foot of Pikes Peak. I have been fascinated with how the Holy Spirit brings transformation into the life of the believer since I first became a believer thirty years ago. Spiritual theology became one of the focuses of my ThM thesis. As a pastor I am experienced in helping others experience the fullness of Jesus through cultivation of a vibrant spiritual life.
On my days off you can find me fishing, riding my Harley through the Colorado mountains, or spending time with family and friends. One of my favorite vocational activities is to sit down with someone over coffee and discuss the ways God is working in their lives.
